Conduit
Any ideas about making a connection between the toolbar and a vF forum?
hmm based on what I see XML and HTML coding would be needed to work right, but idk, i haven't toyed with it much. Oh and don't both using the name vForums for the community name,i just used it LOL
I used tFAH for my forum, do you think you can make a chat using Display Name from my forum? Maybe with the API?
yes you can use the api with it, hell i planned on doing it for Divine Shadows.I'd just need to find anther file calling protocol other then include where i can put a full url. Doing that you can even build a login system into to.
Well the main thing I want is to know which users of my forum have installed the toolbar, I like how I can add RSS feeds from my forum onto the toolbar
yea well i ahve no idea how that can even be doneanyways how do you use RSS feeds from the forum
cause i'd do the same thing with the one I am making for here, but assign it to the announcement board
Here is an example: http://tfah.vforums.us/rss/board/news/view/full/page/1/
oh i didn't know about the RSS action![]()
Well in FF when viewing a board or topic there is a RSS icon in the address bar, you click that for the RSS feed
oh ok, yea i dont use FF anymore, i am using chrome now
Ah, well if you figure out about what I want tell me, alright?
np at all, i'll look into it, i am going to do some editing with it on my own and see what i can come up with LOL
Alright

If I can get the proper help from Ross when he is not so busy, I am working on and Windows Vista/7 Gadget for RSS, specifically for vForums only. Simply just add the RSS feed URL from a board, and it'll show you, problem is. I don't understand most of the coding, some of it is XML and JavaScript, and I don't know much of the 2.![]()
lolyea well its rather easy to customize per board basic, but the count of how many people have it installed is not something ross can help with, you need to contact the conduit staff and ask them on how to go about it, cause it have to call off their systems to run the check.
It's more of which forum members have it installed that I would like to know
again only way that can be done is using the api, and build a login system into it, but I don't think its possible to see where people are exactly logged in from
I see
umm i cant do much with this after all. it wont let me install it for testing![]()
Oh
yeaits very annoying

Yeah, that would be
