Nothing major, but if your account is already validated, you can still access the Email Validation page, which allows you to change your email address without entering a password.

Also, when validating an email for the first time, the next page shows a message about Mass Emails (opt-in/opt-out), but the message says "Due to a recent change in our software, users will soon be able to..." (I'm guessing you wrote this message prior to the feature being added. )

I have a note on my desk telling me that all emails the system sends out need reviewing. I guess that extends to the whole email activation on-screen messages too.
