There's simply too many new features to fit into a single subject! Most of the updates are little bug fixes or additional customization options. However the big ones you may want to know about are as follows:
Board Options
3 New options are now avaliable to you when modifying/creating a board.
Disable Post Counts to stop posts made in that board from increasing a users post count
Show Topics to choose to hide the topics table and only show the boards sub-boards.
Sub-Boards on Main Page to show a list of all sub-boards belonging to a board underneath the boards description.
Mini-Profile Template
You can now create your own mini-profile layout using our new templating system. This system allows you to directly edit the HTML used for member and guest profiles. This can be found on the "Mini-Profile Template" page in the "Site Design" portion of the admin panel.
Guests Currently Online/Online Today IPs
For staff members who can see IPs, the # of guests online in the info center is now clickable. When clicked a box will appear containning details of when each guest was last online and what their IP address is.
Move Multiple Threads
The "Move Topics" option has been added to the "Multi-Topic Moderation" controls so you can mass-move threads.
Head and Base Images
You can now enable head/base images from the "Modify Images" portion of your admin panel. There are 3 images for each (left corner, middle and right corner) so that the images can grow/shrink based on the users screen width.
Enjoy!

The Mini Profile template sounds awesome. Will make skinning mini profiles easier for coders and non coders

Awesome it is... though I could see the support forum getting a few support requests... as it looks daunting!

That's why the built in templates are there. If they do something wrong they can just revert to that.
As for the upgrade screen, it shows fine in IE7

So when does the AJAX come in?
I've got 2 AJAX based features, what more do you want?
Although at some point I will be adding a couple of more little ones. Don't know when that'll be though.

Posting? Not sure I see the point/benefit of that
I agree, I don't like AJAX posting. That's one of the reasons I don't like VB.
no reloads ?
What are the advantages/disadvantages to AJAX, for the novice?
What are the advantages/disadvantages to AJAX, for the novice?
Advantages to AJAX are that you can submit forms and grab data without leaving the current page. Disadvantages is that it's a bit slower in most cases, and older browsers/those with JS disabled don't support it.

As long as it's a profile-editable option; I really don't like AJAX for anything more than locking/stickying posts.
