New Default Skin - Posted By Ross (admin) on 7th Feb 10 at 12:50am
A new 'default' skin has been set which will be offered to all forums during the signup process - replacing the current green one. Any forums running the old default green skin will have their skin automatically updated to the new one.

New Skin Example: http://test800.vforums.co.uk

[Update] Approximately half of existing skins have been checked / updated. The rest will be processed tomorrow along with a fix on creating new skins so they use this new default

Looks very nice {Smile} I like the blue better than the green.

There's almost no icons {Unsure} {Confused}

All forums should have now been updated {Smile} I'm glad at least some of you like it. Thanks to ashkir who came up with the original concept {Smile}

{Tongue Out} i think it would of been more proper having something that matched the main service in general. so blues and white, like the forum, but without the images.

TBH, I don't really like it.

The colors are really mismatched. The blue and pink don't go well together. The blue seems a bit too..dull/plain. The pink is a good light shade, but as said, it doesn't work well with the blue.

I like it, other than the pink... But it actually looks more of an off white. I like how the blues go together. They complement the website well.

It is suppose to be plain. It is a default skin.

The background does not look at all pink on any of my screens - and I know my design skills fail but on my screens it matches the blue nicely. It looks like more of an off-white than anything. If it's that much of an issue for people it could be changed to something more grey...

{Tongue Out} its pink, trust me XD try EFEFEF, that should look fine if you want an off white

To me, this looks like it has died of dull-ness... {Rolleyes}

I'll try to take a peak at it on another machine tomorrow if I get a chance. But unless it looks hideous then it stays {Cool}

Besides, it's the default skin. It's the one users are supposed to change if they don't like it...

It has got a slight hint of red/pink to it, but I don't see anything wrong with it at all! {Unsure}

I like it, looks pretty awesome some blue/light blue auto grads would look sweet.

Re: New Default Skin - Posted By RuhRoe (mezorro) on 8th Feb 10 at 1:38pm
I think the first one is better. But maybe some gradients would be cool.

Smiley.
