Two new features have been introduced. The first of these is "Announcements" where you can make a topic appear in all boards. It will have a special icon next to it and the word "Announcement" before it to try and attract the members attention. An example of an announcement should be put up tonight.

The other new feature is multi-topic moderation which allows staff members with the ability to mass lock/sticky/delete topics.

In addition to these new features, the topic ID structure has changed to prevent duplicate IDs occuring. Any link pointing to an old ID will automatically redirect the user to the new ID.

A quick question regarding the new ID's; will the old ID's still work in the quoting system, for example?

I can't convert times to unix timestamps in my head, plus I don't know the exact second that a post was submitted. Thus, I cannot get a thread's old ID.
