The latest wave of updates has just been applied to all forums introducing a number of new options for customizing your forum. These new features include:

Multi level sub-boards
You are no longer limited to only having sub-boards one level deep. You can now make sub-boards as deep as you like, that is to say that you can put a sub-board within another sub-board. So this includes sub-sub boards, sub-sub-sub boards and even sub-sub-sub-sub boards

Board Permissions now set by rank/group
Rather than setting each boards posting and viewing positions as either "everyone", "members" or "staff" you can now set each ability (view board, start topics, post replies and start polls) seperately. This give smuch better control in limitting a boards access. All current permissions were converted to use this new system right before the upgrade so that no boards were exposed to members/guests which shouldn't have been.

Ad Position
To help the ads fit in with your forum there are now 6 possible ad placement options as well as 3 possible ad-corner types. The placement options are above/below the welcome table, as a left/right hand column next to the forums or floating on the left/right hand side of the screen. The corner options are square, slightly rounded or very rounded. To change this setting on your forum, go to the "Ad-Free Settings" page in the "Other Settings" section of your admin panel.

Search by Category
Checkboxes have been added next to the category names on the search page so that you can select all the boards (and sub-boards) from a particular category in one go.

I think that's all of the upgrades which affect everyone. Enjoy them. And as always, if you find a bug or have any problems with them then let me know.

I love the changes...hell they were default when I first tried it out. Amazing =D. And your admin panel is clean and easy to navigate. =D

I'm sure the database could cope with it. Might load a bit slow though on the main page trying to find which board has the most recent post though.
